“THE NOT’CRACKER”
 A New Twist on a Holiday Classic    

  Auditions were Held on Sunday October 2, 2011

Over 75 young dancers between the ages of 6 and 18 were selected to help create the magic in roles from  dancing Mice to Belly Dancing Sugar Plum Fairies and Hip-Hopping Raggedy Ann dolls. This new holiday production is a treat for the whole family. There are over 250 costumes, sets, props and more!

In its Third year of development, this brand new BDT classic is a must see! This unique twist on the Nutcracker Ballet includes new music and choreography in a variety of Dance techniques including Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Belly Dance, Tap, Hip-Hop, and Flamenco.

SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS

Advanced Ballet students are encouraged to audition for the Bronx Dance Theatre at any time. Full and Partial Scholarships are available based on technique and merit.
